WINDOWS FIRST. BUILT FOR YOUR COMMUNITY.

GOOD COMPANY.
GREAT SOUND.

The late-night lobby. The project that won’t wait. The friends who stay for one more game. Make a place for all of it, on a server you control.

INTERFACE CONCEPT · GROUP CALLS IN DEVELOPMENT

◈ SELF-HOSTED COMMUNITIES⌘ ONE SHARED IDENTITY⌑ ENCRYPTED CONVERSATIONS↗ WINDOWS FIRST
A SPACE THAT BELONGS TO YOU

YOUR SERVER.
YOUR KIND OF PEOPLE.

We’re combining the familiar feel of a modern chat app with independently hosted community servers. Here’s what we’re building.

01 / MAKE ROOM

SMALL GROUP.
BIG COMMUNITY.
YOUR CALL.

Organize chat and call rooms, create permission groups, and choose who runs the place. Host it yourself and decide whether your community appears in the public directory.

A CONVERSATION
FOR THE PEOPLE
IN THE ROOM.

Messages are encrypted on your device. Community hosts and the central DM service store ciphertext; conversation members hold the keys. Friend DMs work independently of community connections.

MORE TIME TALKING.
LESS “CAN YOU
HEAR ME?”

Low-delay Opus audio, webcams, and screen sharing up to 60 fps are next on the roadmap. Today’s client lets you preview your devices. Network calling and measured performance are still ahead.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Your questions, answered.

Do I need a PlayerAudio account for every server?

You use one account at playeraudio.net. Community servers receive your PlayerAudio identity, not your account password or email address. Internet server enrollment is still being built.

Can server owners read encrypted messages?

Only members with the conversation keys can decrypt messages. An owner can read a conversation they belong to, but ownership alone does not grant those keys. Servers still see routing metadata, including membership and message timing.

How many people can join my server?

The free server limit is 100 simultaneously connected users. A signed unlimited license will remove that software cap. Actual capacity depends on the host’s hardware and network. License sales and issuance are not available yet.

What happens if I lose my Windows profile?

Password reset restores account access, but it cannot recover chat encryption keys. This preview binds one Windows identity to each account. Keep the original Windows profile; device transfer and encrypted recovery are still in development.

Can I download PlayerAudio now?

Public Windows installers are not available yet. The current client and server run from the development repositories. We’ll make downloads available after the remaining deployment and security work.
